The WBC (World Barefoot Center) has stepped up to promote Barefoot Water-skiing.
"This summer, the World Barefoot Center (WBC)
will
be bringing a very exciting new feature to the table at the 2010 U.S.
National
Championships, as well as the 2010 World Barefoot Waterski
Championships in
Germany. After some preparation and much help from Lynn Johnson, the
WBC will
be hosting a LIVE Online Broadcasting of the event! This will also
serve as a
trial run for our plans to set up the Live feed at the Worlds. Our
goal is to
bring attention to the sport and its prestigious events so that it can
become
more “spectator friendly”, and more well known. We are doing our best
to help
promote and grow the sport, and we think that this is a very
progressive and
exciting way to get people to notice these events.
