Roger ‘Moose’ Williams 1951-2016
On October 22, there was a memorial service held for Roger “Moose” Williams as his ashes were scattered on Lake Buckeye, Florida. Many of his friends took to the water and skied over the ashes.
Roger Keene Williams, Jr, 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. Roger was born on November 3, 1951 in Huntington, New York. Roger is survived by a loving family, many friends and the entire Barefoot Waterskiing community.
You might think that Moose was an exaggerated story teller, but you would come to find out that many of his adventures in life were true. Moose lived life on his terms. He was very political, opinionated, often ranted about how he felt, never waivered, and offered no excuses for who he was. He loved his motorcycles and his cars and defined what a true “motor head” was all about.
