| Back Barefooter |  | Awarded for barefoot water skiing backwards long line behind the boat on feet. |
| ABC Master Barefooter |  | Awarded for performing both front toe holds and both back toe holds long line on feet. |
To officially become a barefooter in the American Barefoot Club, you need to be a member of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports and you must ski on your feet long line in front of an examiner for 15 seconds or email an unedited video of you barefooting long line for 15 seconds to an examiner.
A designated examiner will award you with your first “barefooter” badge for you to sew on your gear bag, wetsuit or jacket! There is also a window decal version for your truck or boat!
Any of these badges can now be earned for free at ABC events to anyone participating (grassroots events through world record capable events)
If anyone would like to earn these outside a sanctioned event they can still be earned and awarded after a $10 donation to the ABC.
Earn a Tricks, Slalom or Jump Badge
Tricks – Badge + one star per 1000 points up to 10,000 points (10 star Max)
Slalom – Badge + one star per 2 points up to 20 points (10 star Max)
Trick – Badge + one star per 1,000 points up to 10,000 points (10 star Max)
Jump – Badge + one star per every two meters starting at 8 meters (10 star Max)

American Barefoot Club
