We love boats. Avid barefoot water skiers, we met on a ski boat in Florida and we were married on a sailboat in Key West. We each brought a ski boat to the marriage and then had one together. But three boats were not enough. We grew up on lakes in Minnesota and decided we wanted to leave our jobs and sail away. But first, we thought we needed a "starter sailboat." We bought a neglected sailboat on Craig's List for $1000 to learn how to rebuild and maintain a sailboat. This is the story of the boat we call "Uffda."
